Highly Specialized Physical Therapy

TheraWays founder, Priyal, is one of a few physical therapists in the country with the advanced manual therapy certification and an osteopractic diploma. Above and beyond traditional physical therapy, TheraWays offers the Alpharetta, Milton, Roswell and Johns Creek communities highly specialized integrative therapy to treat:

  • Pelvic Rehabilitation
  • TMJ and craniofacial pain
  • Dizziness and vertigo
  • Neuromusculoskeletal conditions
  • Women’s health issues like incontinence and prolapse
  • Geriatric conditions like imbalance and physical weakness
  • Sports and dance injuries

Coupling traditional physical therapy with manipulations, dry needling, cupping or massage, also can have a positive impact on our patients.

Dry needling involves a thin sterile needle that penetrates the skin and stimulates trigger points as well as muscular and connective tissues. The needle allows a physical therapist to target tissues that are not manually detectable.  The technique releases muscle tension and lessens pain quickly.

Cupping, or the placing of cups on the skin, creates suction to increase blood flow and healing. These techniques can help speed up a patient’s return to active rehabilitation.
